Green Chile Egg Puf

Green chilies add a touch of Southwest flavor to this fluffy egg dish.   The cottage cheese offers nice texture, and people always love the gooey Monterrey Jack cheese melted throughout. —Laurel Leslie, Sonora, California

INGREDIENTS​

10 large eggs
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 pint small curd cottage cheese (2 cups)
1 lb monterey jack cheese, shredded
1/4 cup butter, divided
16 ounces chopped green chilies
1/2 lb diced ham (opt)

Butter a 13x9 inch baking dish
Beat eggs.
Add dry ingredients, cottage cheese and shredded cheese.
Add melted butter and chilies.
Pour into buttered baking dish.
Bake at 350° for 35 minutes or until center is firm and top is golden brown
